Connection needs clear boundaries.
Effective 4 September 2026
These terms govern use of NuaTalks chats, voice notes, calls, private Circles, posts and Moments. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights in your country continue to apply.
Your account and device
Use your own Nua Account and keep sign-in methods, trusted-device approvals and recovery access secure. Do not share passwords, one-time codes, device keys or invitation codes with anyone who should not have them. You are responsible for actions deliberately completed from your account, subject to applicable law.
Who may use NuaTalks
You must be legally able to use an online communication service where you live. A child or young person may use NuaTalks only with the age-appropriate permissions and guardian involvement required by applicable law and by the controls shown in the product.
Your content and audiences
You keep ownership of content you create. You give the service only the limited permission needed to transmit, store, display, protect, moderate and delete that content for the people and Circles you selected. You must have the right to share the content and must respect the privacy and rights of every person shown or discussed.
Check the named recipient or Circle before sending. Invitations, membership and access can change; NuaTalks rechecks current authority rather than treating an old invitation as permanent permission.
Private does not mean identical security everywhere
Supported chats and calls use the device-security and encryption controls described in the app. Circle posts, comments, reactions and media are private by selected audience and access control, but NuaTalks services process them to deliver the feature and operate safety controls. Do not assume every social item has the same end-to-end encryption model as an encrypted chat.
Prohibited use
You may not use NuaTalks to break the law, threaten or harass people, impersonate others, invade privacy, distribute malware or spam, bypass access controls, exploit a child, or create, request, possess or distribute child sexual abuse material. The current Community Standards and Child Safety Standards form part of these rules for social participation.
Safety actions
NuaTalks may restrict content, Circles, devices or accounts when reasonably necessary to protect people, investigate abuse, comply with law or maintain service integrity. Reporting and blocking remain available even when ordinary posting is restricted. See the Safety Centre for reporting routes.
Service availability and changes
Online services, device platforms and third-party identity or calling providers can fail or change. NuaTalks does not show an action as completed without confirmation from the responsible service, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Features may be changed or withdrawn where necessary for security, safety, law or product operation.
Ending use
You can stop using NuaTalks and request account deletion. Some restricted safety, fraud, dispute or legal records may need to be retained for a limited period where law permits or requires it. The deletion process and its 30-day grace period are described on Delete your account.
